A group fitness enthusiast since the age of 10, Julie has taken the Northwest world of Group Fitness by storm. She has taught at over 25 clubs in the area, including 8 years as Group Fitness Director for Mieko’s Fitness and 2 years as Director for Vision Quest Sport and Fitness. Over the past five years, she has taught over 30 classes per week and simultaneously managed 6 programs which included over 80 instructors.
She was voted BEST FITNESS INSTRUCTOR in Western Washington by King 5’s Evening Magazine in 2012 and 2013 (and is on track to win in 2014 as well). She is certified in and teaches Zumba, Step, Booty Barre, Cycle, Pilates, Yoga, Core, Body Sculpt, TurboKick (Kickboxing) and CrossFit (Level 1).
Her passion is not just instructing clients, but actually teaching proper form, anatomy and full body awareness. She encourages and motivates her clients with unsurpassed energy and enthusiasm. Disappointed in the mass-market gyms’ approach to fitness, Julie strives to give each individual attention and direction: No two bodies are the same and each member deserves a different path to reach their goal.
